Take Up Space

There are days when we all feel a little smaller than we'd like.

We second guess ourselves. We blend in. We choose the safer outfit instead of the one that makes us feel most alive.

I've been thinking a lot about this lately, partly because I've been challenging myself to become more visible, both as an artist and as a woman. Stepping in front of the camera has reminded me that confidence isn't something that magically arrives before we act. It grows because we choose to show up anyway.

I've always loved how jewelry can help us do exactly that.

Not because it changes who we are, but because it amplifies what is already there.

A sculptural necklace catches the light before you say a word. A dramatic pair of earrings draws the eye upward. A bold ring becomes something you notice throughout the day, quietly reminding you of the woman wearing it.

Adornment has always been about more than decoration. It expresses who you are without saying a word.

For me, bold jewelry is an act of permission.

Permission to be expressive.

Permission to be noticed.

Permission to take up the space you were always meant to occupy.

When I create a piece in the studio, I'm thinking about more than form and movement. I'm imagining how it will feel when someone tries it on, sees her reflection in the mirror, and lights up at her own magnificence.

Those moments are why I do this work.

My hope is that every piece I make helps you feel a little more radiant, a little more powerful, and a lot more YOU.

Because the world doesn't need us to become smaller with age. It needs us to be fully ourselves.
